Clinton House Museum partners with Single Parent Scholarship Fund of NWA

We are excited to host the children of Single Parent Scholarship Fund of NWA scholarship recipients for a day of learning and fun! Camp is Wednesday, August 1st, from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Clinton House Museum in Fayetteville. This one-day experience is FREE and for children entering first grade through sixth grade. During what is the winter break for lots of area schoolkids, we are offering a story time, hot chocolate and cookies, a scavenger hunt, and special kid-sized exhibit about some of the First Sons and Daughters in the White House.

The Clinton House Museum and Fayetteville Ale Trail are hosting the fourth History Happy Hour of the year! Celebrating Dickson Street is Tuesday, July 9th from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. For decades, Dickson Street has been the iconic center of the Fayetteville entertainment scene, but many things about that neighborhood have changed over the years. Through photos, trivia, and live music, and an exhibit YOU create, we'll take a trip down old Dickson Street.

Celebrating the fiftieth anniversary of a landmark event, this candid and personal photography exhibition covers a critical juncture in the career of Johnny Cash, one of the twentieth century’s most beloved performers.

The Clinton House Museum and Fayetteville Ale Trail are hosting the fifth History Happy Hour of the year on Tuesday, September 17th from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. September's History Happy Hour is very special! Along with celebrating our Johnny Cash exhibit, 1968: A Folsom Redemption, we're celebrating the anniversary of the show that Johnny Cash did in Fayetteville on September 17, 1968 that included an appearance with then-Governor Winthrop Rockefeller. This day is also historic as Arkansas native Bob Wootton came to Fayetteville to see the Cash show, and he ended up on stage playing guitar for Cash.
